The Community Development Workshop will explore innovative approaches to community development, asset assessment, capacity-focused development, and the means for engaging, entering, developing, and sustaining efforts to transform communities. Training areas will also include the discussion and practical application of the 12 Primary Service Areas for Community Development.
International Disaster Response Network (IDRN) Level 1 Training is a one-day training course tailored for individuals and groups desiring the knowledge and skills required to facilitate an international Private Sector disaster response. Trainees will be familiarized and provided a basic understanding of disaster statistics, network collaboration, IDRN capabilities and operations. In addition to introducing the primary goals and capabilities of the IDRN, this course also provides individual and family disaster preparedness and survival skills intended to prepare attendees for disaster events affecting their family and place of residence.
