HISG Trains Disaster Responders In Lebanon

BEIRUT, LEBANON - HISG trained teams from a number of different organizations in International Disaster Response in February. As HISG and our partners build the International Disaster Response Network, one of the most exciting developments has been the number of people who desire more and more training. The session in Beirut provided training for Level 3 (advanced) International Disaster Response.
HISG has trained more than 1,000 people in International Disaster Response, and many of those people are now partnering with HISG as we respond to disasters like the earthquake in Haiti (January 2010), multiple earthquakes in Indonesia (October 2009), and countless other events all over the world. The core of HISG's International Disaster Response model is partnership, and time after time the partnerships in HISG's network succeeded where other approaches failed.
