DISASTER RESPONSE/EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS FUND

All donations to the disaster response fund will be designated for use during urgent disaster relief initiatives, such as the response to Flooding in Manila, Philappines, and relief efforts for the Earthquakes in Sumatra, Indonesia. When there are no current disaster, donations to this account will saved and made ready for any disaster that might occur.

GENERAL FUND

A donation to the general fund will be used for HISG projects such as community development, care for orphans and other vulnerable children, or HISG infrastructure.

ERW PROJECT

ERW Project- HISG Explosive Remnants of War project is making communities safer by teaching local teams how to identify and remove unexploded ordinances so that they can reclaim their land, restore their confidence, and rebuild their communities.

Let's Save One is a campaign to help people connect on a personal level with individuals who need urgent medical attention. You can read more about the specific cases here. All donations will go directly to the need described in the "Cases" section.

INFRASTRUCTURE FUND

All donations to the Infrastructure Fund are marked for use in the Global Information Center, the Colorado Operations Center, the HISG secure email system (for use in connecting resources around the world) and development of the Starfish Collaboration Platform.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT FUND

All donations to the Economic Development Fund will be used for long-term sustainability to help train entrepreneurs in business ventures and to provide small, medium and large-scale loans to develop medium and macro-enterprises that will generate long-term economic benefits within Third-World countries.
