Tom Jennings is the International Director in S.E. Asia and South America for Humanitarian International Services Group and he started working with HISG in June of 2007.
He with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Upper Iowa University in 1972. After graduation he worked for the Chicago and Northwestern Transportation Company until he moved to Germany in 1973. Charlene and he were married in 1976 and were involved with leadership development training of university students and businessmen in Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
In 1987, Tom and Charlene moved to Hong Kong, where they incorporated the import-export company, Jensco Ltd. The scope of business included the incorporation of Pentoc, a Joint Venture company in China, which received the “Joint-Venture Choice of the Year” award in the Tibetan Autonomous Region of China. During that time, Tom attended an MBA program at the University of East Asia in Macao. Tom and Charlene founded charities in Hong Kong, Sichuan, China, and Outer Mongolia in addition to their business activities.
After moving their family to the USA in 1996, they incorporated the consulting company, Jennings & Associates Inc. and also set up a 501 c (3) charity in Colorado to provide humanitarian assistance to the poor and needy of Asia. They each bring over 35 years of extensive international and domestic experience, consulting and training organizations from every continent in such areas as leadership development, team building, effective communication skills and customer service.
Tom and Charlene reside in Colorado Springs, Colorado. They have two married daughters.
